Dear Lord I hope we don't try that.

So Super, word is SEC has talked to Texas A&M about going to the SEC several months ago. CU did accept the invitation to the PAC 10... PAC 11 I mean. Might Texas join them if they come?
The bad thing about all of this talk of consolidation is that the SEC will become more like the PAC 10 in terms of travel. As it is now, you can go to almost any school (Arkansas is a bit off the beaten path) and go to a weekend game in your car. Start throwing (the state of) Texas into the mix, and that becomes problematic. (Could be good for DAL though???!!!) I would rather the SEC cherry pick the ACC and get UM and FSU instead of TU and T A&M. Besides... their stadiums are too small.

One nice thing about all this talk though, it makes Notre Dame's desire to remain independent look weaker and weaker... They are gonna have to fish or cut bait.
