I got the ATP because I wanted to have it before I started interviewing..opens doors. At the same time, with the GI Bill, the government covers 60% of a type rating from approved schools. I went to Higher Power since they'll do both the 737 and the ATP on the same sim ride, and the end cost (to me) was about the same as going to All-ATP to get it done.
