The FO in question claims that his company told him to park behind the BAX international cargo facility on the other side of the field and to await transportation to the aircraft. I do not think he ever went through security... I would love to get to the bottom of that.
Not sticking up for this guy at all, but there are airports that you don't go through security with the passengers.
