I was about 95 percent sure he was former Delta. Now I'm 100 percent sure. There's also another former Delta pilot at Falcon that intended to fly an airplane to FLL, but not fly any scab flights. I'm not really happy about the backlash I have been getting for posting legitimate posts.
Hockey, some people think that Delta pilots are actually different than CAL, AA, US Air, TWA, etc. Too many naive types that get defensive when no real defense is necessary. Each man is free to do as he does. Delta hires well qualified applicants, then again so does SWA or any other airline I didn't already mention. I absolutely refuse to tie any association to an airline beyond my W-2. I won't take credit for Carty, Steenland, ALPA or any other namesake in this industry. I just go to work, be humble as I can (it's hard) and pray/hope that my latest and greatest version of the world's largest airline doesn't fall into the same cracks that AA, Easter, Pan Am and TWA did; statistically/historically it'll get interesting at some point.
If the SCAB was a former DAL pilot... ok. No hit on me, anyone I know or even DAL for that matter. I'm sure he had some kind of personal vendetta against ALPA or some seriously flawed character issues that likely were there when he did work for DAL. For once I will agree with Carl, the facts are the facts and there is no point in hiding them.
