I made a request for Spirit to guarantee my flight will not be cancelled due to strike on 7/1 OR cancel my 7/1 reservation and give me a credit towards a future flight.

They denied both.

Hmmm, sounded like a pretty fair offer to me. I rebooked on another airline, disputed the CC charge, and obviously won't ever fly Spirit again. Gave them a VERY fair option to credit me towards a future flight, which would have went a long way in me continuing to fly Spirit if they ever solve their current issues.
