I'll reinterate what's already been said...172 or nothing. I know it may stink to lose a potential student and the revenue associated with it in these times but the risk of flying overweight and having something go wrong isn't worth it. Additonally, switching between planes is going to make his training longer in TT which will be more than the $20hr he saves with the 152.
