The person has been working at a 121 carrier, has 2500 PIC hours and 5000 total turbine hours, including roughly 1000 military heavy hours.
First thing that comes to mind is what type of court. General Special or Summary. If I remember my justice course correctly, an Officer can't have a summary but the other two carry a Federal Court felony conviction. If he was enlisted and received a summary, it's a misdemeanor.
I would think his only hope is to be honest and be able to demonstrate good integrity and work ethic since. However, I also think it'll be an uphill battle, too many folks without that type of stain right now.
