I was not an ASA pilot but given the shear number of them hired in the last go around and given that they are not bound to a flow through program and can be hired on merit out of seniority order then I'd say they're not missing out. The winner is, or ought to be CPZ because it's only fair given they'd be the big losers if we furlough.
Mesaba and Compass pilots can also apply outside the flowthru and get hired out of seniority as well, so we are not losing out eitherway.
