The vast majority of fNWA are integrating with no problems at all. They are taking leadership roles.

However, the senior entrenched 747 captains are apparently getting a reputation as a bunch of bed-wetters who are resisting any and all change just because it didn't come from them. More interested in posturing and their "prestige" than efficient flight operations. Thus we are seeing alot of them being quietly shown the door.

They are rapidly losing credibility and influence among the real decision-makers.

The whole situation is a real shame since those guys could be providing valuable input if they could just get over their "kiss my ring" complex.
If you call every single LCA doing a letter over what they as well as practically ever other 744 pilot viewed as a safety of flight item "prestige and posturing", then kiss my ring and I'm not even a capt.

Perhaps if you knew the facts of some of the issues you might find that we were and are concerned about the efficiency and safety of the operation. That's ok we are getting used to it, being called whinning, posturing, and kiss my ring. That makes for a good environment to debate things. If that 's what it takes so what. I think we all want things to improve and the fact that we are talking about these matters speaks pretty well for the overall merger.
