Don't go to colgan, I had an old flight instructor friend of mine die working for them, they were ferrying a plane from CapeCod back to NYC and was press to go with a known control surface problem that needed to be fixed in NYC, for some reason there was not a tool in CapeCod to repair propery so it was "airworthy" to take to NYC but on takeoff it crashed killing both crew members.....
DavisPM, That is a lie, the plane crashed after undergoing MX in Hyannis due to a misrigging of the elevator. It was returned to service and they were on there way for a revenue flight. The same issue happened to an Air Midwest flight out of CLT several years later.
