Both would be great. During my XJT furlough, I've been building a ton of multi-piston PIC under Part 135. It's great experience to have under your belt, and it checks a few boxes. That said, I will be taking recall if offered, simply because nobody goes from a [piston] Twin Cessna to Delta.
Yes, I'll be then building a million hours of turbine SIC, but I already have 2000 PIC in my logbook. Many regional FOs don't have that.
