Too bad they didn't see that in 2007 when they hired 300 spartans; unless it benefited them in some way then...
For a lot of 2007 and 2008 they had a relatively cheap probationary workforce. It certainly benefited them. In spite of our voluntary efforts through the MOU, they felt the divorce (furlough) would be cheaper.
And so far, it is working ... unfortunately for the bottom 400 !
