In typical AA reactionary manner DAL sells it's regionals and next day AA is thinking about it, again.
As stated above AMR looked at selling Eagle a couple of years ago, but all the interested parties balked at the terms. It was shelved. 2-3 weeks ago AMR reannounced a new effort to sell again concurrent with a change in leadership, most likely for that purpose.
Your articel may be nnew, but the news is a few weeks old. Perhaps, they got wind of the DAL sale weeks ago before it was announced and didn't want to appear like the followers they are.
