NOT much "night life" in Punta Cana. If you are looking to disco dance til 4 AM, Jamaica or Mexico are better. They do have a casino though. I played a lot of hold 'em while we were there.
Check, $67/person was for the expensive side of Riu or the middle grade part? I did the middle for a week. The buffet was good, the water was great, the kayaking around that half sunken ship was a blast, the employees and beach sales guys were good, but I could've done without the plethora of old near naked men, topless european AARP women, and naked kids.
