Avantair does have a commuter policy on the books. However, if you are coming from 121 then it's a bit different than you're used to.

We have no jumpseat agreements with anybody.

So, with that said, you would need a spouse working at an airline or be just outside the two hour limit with a relative (or someone willing to put you up) in the gateway, or have the means to transport yourself and put yourself up in gateway for days if necessary, for it to really help you out.
