Flamebait question, let me get my fire extinguisher out here, standby...

had Delta put CRJ-200s in the 1990s on to the mainline certificate, would we have them today? Or would they've been dumped in 08 or 09 at the latest and a sizeable sizeable number of DAL mainline pilots furloughed? Just a question from the crewroom. And don't read into it, I'm not saying its in retrospect good we didn't put RJs on at mainline, just would we still have 50 seaters? Would we have 76 seaters? What would we have?

imho, we wouldn't have CRJ200s in the fleet anymore. But we'd had grown into the next size up, or two sizes up, but we definately would not be fighting over having the jets outsourced. Of course, we might not have, and we might have just parked jets and people. I don't know.

also whats in the big big crate in the sim bay in the ATL training center? I haven't personally seen it, we're just talking about it.
