We're talking about pilots, not criminals.
In our world there are many actions that could be looked down upon. For example, picking up open time with pilots on furlough, waiving certain contract protections, or flying for certain companies. However, in our world, those who scab are the lowest of the low. Of all the moral choices that a pilot has to make, choosing to scab is the worst.
