By the way, Edward Liddy made $63 million for the 5 years before his drastic pay cut, his salary going down to $1 in 2009 still left him with a $500,000 bonus paycheck and between 10 and 20 million in stock gains... I'd work for a buck if the job included a $500,000 bonus, but I don't think many contract airlines do that. Furthermore he spent 20+ years accruing a massive fortune, and corporate CEOs with his wealth are outnumbered Airline Pilots in this country by a wide margin, it's kind of like comparing Apples to Oil Tankers.
