I'd work for a buck if the job included a $500,000 bonus, but I don't think many contract airlines do that. Furthermore he spent 20+ years accruing a massive fortune, and corporate CEOs with his wealth are outnumbered Airline Pilots in this country by a wide margin, it's kind of like comparing Apples to Oil Tankers.
