If you're coming off an X-day and they haven't put anything on your schedule by 1500 base time, they can't give you anything that reports before 1200 the next day. Exceptions:
1. They can give you a 1000 SC, the reasoning that with the 2 hour-call out window, you'd report the earliest at 1200.
2. You've put in a yellow slip, which includes lowering your raw score. If the report is more than 12 hours, you have to take the trip. Less than 12 hours, it's a proffer. So, they could call you at 1800 for a 0600 report.
If you're already a day into you reserve days, then the 1500 time doesn't mean anything. Checking your schedule at 1500 only applies when coming of an X-day.
This is true. However, you are never under any obligation to answer your phone on a day off. Therfore, you are only required to accept a YS trip with 12+ hours of notice IF YOU answer your phone. If they can't contact you they have to remove it & put it back in open time.
Lesson learned....don't answer your phone.
