Is the 2 hour systems review a jeopardy event and how extensive are the questions asked by the standards Captain? Only reason I ask is that we have a VERY limited question and answer period, (45 mins at most), thats basically a do you know this type thing.
With all due respect, why is there such a concern with the specific details of our training events? It appears that the management tea leaves are being aligned to send us back to the era of Dave Behnke.
Simply put, our checking events are geared for the lowest common denominator. Our transition events are designed for a pilot who has a couple Boeing types because it's not a fire hose, it's a BP Gulf oil leak.
For the most part, our SC's, PI's, and AI's are all fine people who want you to learn and succeed. They are hog tied from above.
