Pilot unity could also include have all pilots be against the GoJet pilot group. We need unity one way or the other. Either everybody needs to accept the non-original GoJetters or everybody needs to agree that they are scum and to be treated as such. As it stands right now, you have guys going there and getting jobs that other guys could have if there wasn't such a stigma surrounding going there. Those guys are benefiting (in the short term at least) from the fact that there is little competition for the job. If they have recall rights at United, then they really have nothing to lose. They are not scabs and having GoJet on their resume doesn't particularly matter to them once they are back at United.
Then you have the old guys from other defunct airlines that are at GoJet as well. They don't care since it might be their last airline job before retiring. GoJet seems like a good fit for people that have no reason to try to benefit the rest of the airline pilot community. I just hope that once TSA negotiations finally finish that we might have some kind of end to the whole debate.
