Its hard on RSV to give up holidays and weekends off to come in for a GS/IA because it is straight pay. But I've known a few 777 pilots who've told me that they put in a standing GS and it was the only trip they got all month. So I could see how flying 1 4-day and getting paid 100 hours on the month.
Unless I'm missing something, that math should be about right. Sometimes the rules around GS's get a bit too tricky for me to figure out.
I need to study the reverse side of GS's as in maybe I shouldn't have accepted this one because it was worth a lot less than I thought.
