While I sympathize with your plight the facts are that even if we did hire off the street, you'd be junior to the UAL furloughees as they return after the merger is concluded. These guys were active UAL Pilots previously and have recall rights that exceed your pool ones.
I do not disagree with you, they should be senior to all new hires. I just hope i don't lose my opportunity to get on property even if it means being at the bottom of the list for years as UAL furloughees return.
