The above was stated "black/white" late this past May by Jay Pierce (as well as the LEC's that were present) in Houston's the Town Hall meeting. The CAL Pilot Group, Neg. Committee, LEC's, and MEC are acutely aware of what SCOPE degregations has done to mainline pilot positions, industry pay, and general QOL for ALL of us in this industry.
Since the May announcement, I have heard time and again, SCOPE is one topic that will NOT bend.
Apologize for the drift.....back to CAL's impending hiring.
SoCal,
I'm not negotiating in public. I would rather suggest that we again call our respective LEC members and reiterate the position that further relaxation scope is non negotiable and 70 seat flying at the very least needs to be transitioned back to the mainline. In doing so we can hopefully continue this thread of mainline hiring. Nice weekend to you.
