Hey, take it easy -- he's a military guy (like me). We know plenty about sacrifice for a greater good.

We're brought up as pilots in an environment that takes care of us, so most military guys aren't hip to how the airline business works and, especially, unions.

He's asking the question because he doesn't know or understand, but wants to. Don't crap on him because he's trying to educate himself.
