If your company is on the CASS list, you show up at the appointed time and are polite, professional and cordial, you'll always be welcome on my jumpseat. As long as you aren't on one of the "bad pilot" lists.
Ranger, I completely share your view here. I may be on a "bad pilot" list but it has to do with skill, not when I came to work.
