It is my opinion only, but I think finishing the degree, no matter what you had to do (even if it meant not flying and flipping burgers or waiting tables) was the right call.

You're not behind the 8 ball experience-wise yet. Continue to instruct and go to school; the ME opportunities will come. And enjoy yourself.
