GOC sent us an ACARS message when we were on the approach into CDG to call CRS when we arrived. Our dispo had the new sched when we went into Flt ops also. Was told the HKG-CDG crew had to turn back to HKG. So we are finishing their trip CDG-MEM.
As for calling in fatigued, if it was a hub turn that would be OK. We have 30 hr layover in CDG before operating.
I also agree that the company will automate the portions in our pay when they save money and leave the ones that are beneficial to us to fill out a pay log. I am sure many pilots have lost tons of pay because they did not file a pay log when they were due$.
