2. Does a GS in a REG month count towards your GS trigger? For example, I'm at 65 hours next month, and the trigger is 75 (I think). If I pick up a 20 hour GS trip, will 10 hours be paid at double time? In a month where you are below the GS trigger, a GS will be paid single pay up to the GS trigger and then double pay for the remainder. Looks like you got that.

3. Who gets to decide when a payback day is used? Can I pick up a high time day trip with the ability to later place my pb day on top of it? If I do this, will the dropped credit count towards the GS trigger? A payback day only comes in play for a reserve GS. It starts about 9 hours after you block in on the last leg. If there are not enough days left in the month then it goes into a payback day bank. I believe you and the scheduler must agree where it is to be used once it's in the payback bank. You have the rest of the calendar year to try and use that day when and how you want but if it's not used this way by Dec. 31 it becomes a "supplemental day" and will be available to add to one of your vacations the following vacation year.

I know it's asking alot, but any contract references would be handy to have. I've searched a little, but can't seem to get these nitty gritty answers nailed down. Sorry for no contract references.

Thanks to the peanut gallery in advance
Hope this helps. You probably already know 23Q is where it talks about GS's.
