The airline industry has been in turmoil since pre 911. There has been a lot of pain suffered by the employees. Some folks like to place blame for their suffering, so they lash out at anyone that threatens them. This gentleman refers to anyone taking a job today in aviation a scab because they start at lower wages. The truth is this same person begged, borrowed and stole his way into the airline business, starting at a very low wage. His wages increased only due to the fact that the senior pilots looked after the newer pilots at that time.

Someone needs to walk in others shoes for awhile and reminisce what it was like when he started in aviation and stop the finger pointing at others. Look in the mirror and ask, “what am I doing to make this a better place for future workers?”

PS Say hi to your cousin Shrek for me.
