I have two concerns with all this.
1) How do we document that we went back out and came back in? Do we hit a kiosk for a boarding pass and will the kiosk now have to spit out something for jumpseating? (Dumb, you still have to get CASSed...and what about off line jumpseating)
2) The memo says working crew have different rules than NR. Does that mean that commuting will now need to use passenger liquid and shoe rules? Shoes, not a big deal but a little plastic bag with travel shampoo and tooth paste while going on a 13 day trip is dumb.
So, the company needs to put out more guidance. For an $11,000 fine, I don't want to leave it up to a TSA guy's interpretation.
