There's got to be a point where you go "No...we're not doing that. That is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Do your job and screen the people that need to be screened."
It needs to be fought. It's silly, and it's a waste of time and resources. With capacity down, but loads up TSA lines get longer and longer. Wait times increase, and pax are further inconvienced by the TSA so they're already ****ed before they even get to the plane.
As others have already pointed out, there are serious flaws in this new procedure. It will not work. Who do we start shaking the pitch forks and torches at?
