I think your missing the big picture. Spirit was hiring all those people in '08 because of all the growth/orders planned. Then oil prices went ape, the global economy contracted on levels not seen for decades, and credit dried up. So all plans had to be put on hold. Fast forward 2 years; were still in a recession, unemployment is 9.5%, but were moving forward. New planes on property this year, new routes/destinations, and orders. Now that the labor strife is out of the picture, we can move forward. Within a year all the furloughed will be back and we will be hiring. Take you negative attitude back over to the other board where you have more support with all your doom-and-gloom theorys
