Not to ride the seat, but for ALL AMR EMPLOYEE'S, your first 5 years of employment, you will pay a service fee if you non rev and get a seat in the cabin.

Yes it sucks, but that's the way it is. I still made more money than working for colgan commuting from DFW to ORD and back, for 9 months, w/o a crash pad, on reserve!

You can make it work.
