At the road show I was given some info,

1. All pilots on leave were called just before the strike and was told that if they did not come back they would be taken off the Sen. List. From what I was told only 2 or 3 decided to come back.

2. One class in Sept and one in Oct. One of these 2 classes may be canceled due to the new contract and OT Staffing. Some feel OT will not go down some fell it will. Time will tell. 2 new ground school instructors are not just for recurrent. Fact is this airline was so short in high season that they have the instructors flying the line and are waiting for low season to pull them from the line for training.

I personally think why pick up OT for 100% there is no incentive. I think 20 to 30 % of the OT Pilots will stop. Which will be enough to offset some if not all the efficiencies in the new contract.

3. OT issue
I was told by MEC and SEC that OT will ONLY be voted back in when the following happens:

1) All furloughed pilots are back on the line.

2) Spirit management has enough coverage for Swaps and Drops and floating Vacation. Red and Green system is up and running and working properly. If the new electrically controlled system does not help us they can go back to the old manual system. Which the company does not want since the requirements are higher.

I don't think we will ever see 1 AC per month starting in Sept.

My crystal ball is as follows based on information from several sources.

1 class in Oct for High season. No class in Sept. One small class in Nov and 1 class in Jan and 1 in Feb. that will get us down the list at least once. This way all the guys that want to come back get back.

No new hire classes until end of next year.

I also think if OT comes back it will not be at 150%. I see 125% to 130%
