Yes durring high season the 90 hour Lines can be built but how many? Do you currently see every line built at 85?
Yes the ave will go up but you will never see all 1100 hours used and this make that 5% more like 3% to 4%.
What's the difference? Why give that to them. They now can build all lines to 90 hours if they want to. It is legal. You can't say nothing about it. Why do you assume they won't do it? How long have you worked for these people, seriously?
Yes, if you take your 84 hours of vacation a year, you can be awarded 90 hour lines all year long.
90x12=1080
subtract 84 hours vacation
that leaves 996 hours.
Will it happen? maybe not, but they can do it if they want to. I am tired of people looking backwards for defending this contract.
90 hours a month is way too much, weather it's just for the peak season. I make mistakes when I have flown that much. Now, because of this contract I will be forced to fly 90 hours a month. I think it was better when the overtime hookers picked up the extra in the busy seasons.
It's so funny that people vilinized the people who worked overtime because it hurt furloughs/upgrades/new hires, but this contract gives so many efficiencies, it does way more damage. Oh yeh, and I still make 15 percent less than jblue pilots flying with 23 more seats per plane....cool.....
