Most of the folks I knew who needed to go home on the weekends were married and had to deal with the Mrs. whining about missing the Mr. or little Johnny was having trouble and need his father, and those folks were WELL beyond jr. high.

It was free advice worth every penny you pay for it. I agree a few hours off clears the head, but even now, in my forties, a trip home to see my parents and siblings is FAR from a vacation.
