Thanks guys for some great advice, I knew that I would get some solid answers if I posted it here.

I ended up signing it but lined thru the employement and 12 months wording and initialed it.

I really hope this doesnt become an issue, I am really not looking to screw anybody and I understand that there are some people that will try to take advantage of you and you have to protect your buisness.
