Having top anything for a regional still stinks! When attrition exceeds hiring, it is not a small problem, it is a massive one! Why would anyone who has 2500 hours and multi turbojet time stay there when they could go to a frac and make almost double their pay the first year? Believe me careerpilot, if you were over 30, had a wife and child to support, you wouldn't go anywhere near that place. Maybe they're just running out of 20 somethings to hire.
I really don't want to be so negative, but it is ridiculously obvious why AE has hiring problems. As well as the rest of the regional industry.
