Yes, technically you should report it on your next medical. Nobody will really care either way, but no point in creating a technical violation by not reporting it.

This would be one of those things that you can make your own determination as to when you are fit to fly...basically when you feel up to it. If painkillers are involved make sure you know how long you have to wait after your last dose (call your AME if in doubt).
