I'm just trying to find that list of days that need CPO approval. I am going to be TDY the week before Labor Day but was wondering if I'd have to do all the forms since it was in the vicinity of a holiday. I know I saw a list of dates somewhere... but I can't find it now.
Remember there is no approval required. Legally all you have to do is notify a representive of the company that you will be on Mil Leave. You don't have to talk to the CP. I would since its only a phone call but its not required. All you have to tell the CP is you will be on mil leave and the dates however the first call to scheduling is all that is legally required. If you don't talk to the CP however I would expect to be required to produce orders on return from the leave. If they request orders or other documentation you have to produce it but not until you return.
