First, talk it over with your CC to make sure he/she's on board. Your unit won't get backfill while you're gone, but CCs worth their salt will support this if they can.

Second, call your Assignment Officer for your platform at AFPC/DPAO (Operations assignments) to see what's available. It's getting pretty busy right now as they finalize the VML so you may get the shoulder, but generally anyone talking about volunteering for a deployment will get a ready response - write an obvious Subj line. If that doesn't work, ask your CC to call/email, and you should get an answer within ~24 hrs.
