I'm basing this on being based in ATL (once everyone is converted) where the bulk of the flying will still consist of MD88 with the occasional MD90 thrown in.

I think it's time all MD88 were brought up to MD90 pay, just as the 737-700 and -800 are same pay.
Unless you break 70hrs guarantee, you'll always be on the MD90 rate...
Once you break guarantee I could see a situation where the extra credit is to some extent absorbed by the lower 88 rate...

For me this is a non-issue, I've seldom just barely broken guarantee, its either way under or way over....
