By far the best post on this thread so far, and one of the shortest. You can brag about all of your pay and credits and pay that you get for doing nothing while your airline buries itself. I just hope your XJT pilots know that you can't be greedy working under Skywest Inc. They are very successfull and for good reason, they know how to run a business. Don't expect to come in and try to get even more pay and more unearned credits under the SKYW umbrella, won't happen. I don't think ASA pilots have ever treated their company better and have never tried harder to keep the airline's performance good. That helps the company get more flying and earn more money. The same sort of thinking happens over at Southwest. There pilots will do anything to save their company a dollar and they are paid well and treathed great while the airline typically does very well.
All I'm saying is that XJT will not bring their practices and business problems that have been sinking the ship in recent years over to a very profitable airline. You guy's may have to give up a little to have a secure job, which would you like it to be?
