You do NOT get paid for a short call. They can convert you up to 7 times a month but after 4 times they have to pick someone else if they are available. Damn, sounds like a back alley mugging. There's one of MANY items that MUST change in any JCBA that comes from this merger.

As it was touched on earlier in the thread, CAL's short vs long (76hr vs 72hr) call reserve has different guarantees.....Is UAL's just a flat 70 for ANY type of reserve call?? Roughly, what's the average/ballpark that a narrow body (or even WB) reserve flys a month at UAL?? Are they getting some of that "90 hr love" too??
