You will get positive space to and from SLC, FAT and LGB for all your training events. Anything in between is at your own risk. Once the ID's arrive you are active in CASS and good to jumpseat. For us I think our ID's arrived around the end of the second week in SLC.

In terms of places to eat, if you get put up in the Crystal Inn or any of our other downtown hotels, there are plenty of restaurants and fast food options. The hotel shuttle will also make runs to the grocery stores.
