Agreed. I was looked at like a lunatic by my crew last Summer when I went out of my way to get a UAL jumpseater in 1st class on a flight to ANC. I physically had to walk back to his seat back in row 38 or something and walk him to the front cabin as the FA's and gate agent were not going to do it. The CA didn't do a damn thing either except to say "that was nice of you", "why did you do that?". I told him how UAL crews take care of jumpseaters etc. and told the FA's that they needed to use their new(jumpseats for CAL cabin crew had just been offered by UAL and vice versa) agreements with UAL to see first hand how we all need to treat each other.
