You may argue that it doesn't matter, this is just an internet forum. My advice to you is this - assume your future employer is reading everything you write. When I interviewed for my current job, they went through all of my old posts on another forum as sort of a background check. This happens more often than you might think.
My current employer did the same.
I just heard that another guy who sent in a resume posted some pics of himself on his Facebook page looking rather sloppy in appearence. One of the guys who helps with the hiring is on his friend's list. He is now a little embarrassed. Amazing how this internet stuff can come back to haunt (hurt) you in the most innocent way.
