Blood work checks for cholesterol, anemia, some types of cancer, Hepatitis, etc. etc. All the stuff that may make you a risk factor down the road.
I guess that makes sense. Although I didn't think an employer could deny you employment because you have cancer, hepititis, hiv, etc. Isn't that discrimination?
