Well, how bout this.....we all had numerous "over water" trips to HNL, GUM, SPN, AMS and had been TOEd to CDG on the ER. As you said, not real tough.
Once again, I was glad the company cared enough to make sure things went smooth, but I disagree about a whale guy being a waste of $$. At least they had done Pacific crossings if that was really what they were concerned about.
That's your opinion and you are entitled to it.. and if you were paying attention, you would know that it was as much about the airplane than the crossing itself.. and I have no idea what all this "note taking" black helicopter stuff ya'll are talking about is.
